  • Fill Out Details with our easy online form with important details, such as:

  • Name of your loved one

  • Preferred scattering location

  • We also welcome you to include a message for the team to read during the scattering

• Please Include a Copy of Your Loved One’s Death Certificate— We handle all permits and inter-state regulations, and having this certificate on hand is part of making sure that we are fully compliant with all state and National Park mandates. It’s also part of our highly rigorous tracking system that ensures a secure process throughout.

• Handcrafted Plaque: With each scattering, we send a commemorative plaque that is lovingly crafted free of charge. You may also opt at this time to have our Wood-craftsman permanently enclose a small portion of your loved one’s ashes in the back of the plaque. This addition is also free of charge.

• Secure Your Service: Complete your payment through our safe and secure system, giving you peace of mind.

Step 2: Arrange for the Ashes

• Option A: Coordinate with a Funeral Home

  • If you prefer, you can simply instruct your funeral home to send the ashes directly to us.

• Option B: Use a USPS Box

  • Request a Free Cremains Shipping Box from USPS: You can obtain a complimentary shipping box from USPS, available at your local post office or online.

  • Secure the Ashes: Place the ashes in a durable container and seal it within the USPS box to ensure their safety.

  • Labeling: Email our team at bonaventurememorial@gmail.com to let us know that you are ready to mail the cremains. We will email you a prepaid shipping label for your convenience. Please ensure all packages weigh 10 pounds or less in total.

  • Send the Package: Drop off the USPS box at your local post office.

  • Upon Arrival: Once we receive the cremains, it will be securely tagged with a unique tracking number. Once we receive the shipment, it is never out of our care.

Step 3: The Ash Scattering Ceremony

• Ceremony Preparation: After we receive the shipment, our compassionate team will carefully prepare for the scattering ceremony, ensuring that every detail honors your wishes and reflects the love you have for your loved one.

• Thoughtful Timing: We schedule scatterings with care, choosing times that enhance the beauty and serenity of the moment, ensuring a respectful and peaceful experience.

• Conducting the Ceremony: We will conduct a respectful and personalized scattering at your chosen location, honoring your loved one’s memory and creating a heartfelt tribute.
